建筑造型優美膜結構建筑是世紀最具代表性與充滿前途的建筑形式。它打破了純直線建筑風格的模式，以其獨有的優美曲面造型，簡潔、明快、剛與柔、力與美的完美組合，呈現給人以耳目一新的感覺，同時給建筑設計師提供了更大的想象和創造空間。具有良好的環保性、透光性、自清潔性，膜材表面采用(聚偏二氟乙烯)涂層、或二氧化鈦涂層，具有較好的隔熱效果，對太陽熱能可反射掉，膜材本身吸收了，傳熱，而透光率卻在以上，經過年的太陽光直接照射，其輝度仍能保留。膜結構中所使用的膜材料每平方1kg左右，由于自重輕，加上鋼索、鋼結構高強度材料的采用，與受力體系簡潔合理一力大部分以軸力傳遞，故使膜結構適合跨越大空間而形成開闊的無柱大跨度結構體系。
防火性與抗震性：膜結構建筑所采用的膜材具有卓越的阻燃性和耐高溫性，故能很好的滿足防火要求。由于結構自重輕，又為柔性結構且有較大變形能力，故抗震性能好。
工期短：膜材裁剪。拼合成型及骨架的鋼結構、鋼索均在工廠加工制作，現場只需組裝，施工簡便，故施工周期比傳統建筑短。
